Making Films, Taking Pictures
One of the big pluses of running your own publication is the opportunity to work with some fantastic photographers. Even better when one of them has been your best buddy since your university years and can turn his hand at both film-making and photography. Bristol photographer and videographer Paul Groom and I had a ball making a short film on the process of making our Keep On Rolling t-shirts (now long since sold out) and both got to learn more about Molly Lemon’s wood engraving projects and printmaking practice for Issue 6.
His style of film-making and photography is so in sync with the magazine – educational yet approachable, creative and insightful – it was on obvious partnership and one we’re keen to repeat again soon.
If you have a project, event or process you’d like to document with a short film, photos… or both… look no further.
Visit Paul’s website on the link below and drop him a line to chat about how he can bring your ideas to life.
